MiX Festival Internazionale di Cinema LGBTQ+ e Cultura Queer 2026

<p>The MiX Festival Internazionale di Cinema LGBTQ+ e Cultura Queer, Milan's yearly international LGBTQ+ film and culture festival, turns 40 this year. It runs from September 17 to September 20, 2026, all at the Piccolo Teatro Strehler in Milan.</p>

<p>Since 1986, MiX has shown lesbian, gay, and transgender films. It's now one of Italy's biggest festivals, attendance-wise. Expect a mix of films, literary talks, and theater.</p>

<p>You'll see independent films from around the world, Italian premieres, and avant-garde stuff. The festival is a good place to catch different takes on identity through film and other art, all from the LGBTQ+ community.</p>
