Had a lovely meal by the side of a canal here. Food was delicious, fresh and at a very good price. Atmosphere was lovely and service from Mateus was very attentive. Can't recommend enough.

Loved this place. A must book restaurant

I've been curious about this restaurant for a while, as it is by a beautiful, quiet canal, in my old neighborhood, away from the main tourist routes. We made a reservation for dinner here and would strongly recommend doing the same. Fair warning though: if you want to eat surrounded by American tourists, this is the place to be in Venice. We heard more English than Italian at the tables around us, but honestly, can't blame anyone for wanting in on this food. We had a full family dinner and all the dishes we tried were excellent: The octopus appetizer, swordfish Mediterranean way, gamberoni alla busara, and linguine con polpa di astice fresco. The seafood here is clearly the star of the show. Washed it down with half a liter of the house prosecco, which was a great, easy pairing for everything. Finished with the tiramisù, the perfect way to close out the meal. One tip: they have outdoor seating right along the canal, which is beautiful and very romantic-looking, but it was brutally hot the night we went. We opted to sit inside with the A/C instead and had zero regrets: still had canal views from the window without melting into our pasta. Service was attentive throughout, food came out at a reasonable pace for Italian standards, and everything was consistently delicious. A touristy spot, sure, but for good reason. Would happily go back.

Good food, fantastic atmosphere. Matheus from Rio de Janeiro is a very sympathic and good waiter who gave us really good advice regarding the food.
