This hotel is perfectly located in the center of Skopje—just a 1-minute walk from the Vardar River, 3 minutes from Macedonia Square, and 3 minutes from the Old Bazaar. That makes it an excellent choice if you’re looking for a central base to explore the city. As for the hotel itself, it’s comfortable and the staff are very friendly. They’re always willing to offer advice and help with anything you might need during your stay. When it comes to the rooms and facilities, the hotel seems to be in the process of being upgraded. For example, the bathrooms feel relatively modern, while the rooms have more of a 90s style. This doesn’t affect comfort (in fact, I’d happily stay here again), but if you’re looking for a sleek, modern European-style hotel, this isn’t quite it. There’s also a small gym, although it’s quite limited. As with the rooms, it feels like something that could improve as renovations continue. Overall, it’s a very good option for staying in Skopje, as long as you’re aware that it has a more old-school feel.

Not bad, not great, a very average experience. I would’ve put 4 stars if the price had been lower, but ~90€ per night for this is high. 70€ would have been more appropriate.

Advantages of this hotel: excellent location, very clean, and a lovely view from the 6th-floor restaurant. Disadvantages: pool and fitness center out of order, no air conditioning, broken refrigerator, unfriendly staff, mediocre food, and unbearable jazz music playing three different tracks on a loop.

Stone Bridge is a hotel where I've stayed for the fourth time as part of a project. The rooms are clean, the bathroom is clean, the breakfast is a bit weak, but the view and location are excellent. It's also very good value for money. I stayed in a single room for 60 euros, and you can get a discount depending on the customer. I recommend contacting them in advance.

The location is excellent, but the cleanliness of the rooms deserves a two out of five at best. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed properly. While the bed and sheets were clean, there were stains on both the floor and wall tiles in the bathroom. The lower halves of the walls were scratched and damaged, and had not been repaired. Furthermore, the internet connection was extremely poor; it kept connecting and then dropping. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say we couldn't use the internet at all. The breakfast was just acceptable and lacked variety. We had breakfast there for two days, and unfortunately, the bread served was never fresh.
