Spent 2 nights here. - Great location, really close to the train and bus station and only a 10 minute walk to the fish market - I checked in just before midnight but to the warmest of greetings, exactly what you want after a long journey - Room was fine and had everything I needed. - Breakfast was AWESOME, definitely worth the extra, and it set you up for the day. I can't wait to return for a longer trip.

Good for bus station, short walk to town centre but better price! Breakfast was extensive and good. Shower was powerfull but some temperature fluctuations. Bed slightly soft with some roll together. Quiet at night except in torrential rain when it drips on the window ledge!

The location is a bit noisy with the road all around it, you might want a room towards the inside of the hotel if you sleep is light. the rooms are good design and modern. The breakfast is nice and balanced with a lot of choice but could have a few more cakes/bakeries.

All good. Close to train/ bus station and the university campus. Extra plus for the “avocado station” at breakfast. Only minus: found a sock from an earlier guest under my bed.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I made an honest mistake booking a Twin room instead of a Double room for a stay in July (3 months away!). Even though their official website and all platforms show plenty of "Double Rooms" available for those dates, the hotel management (specifically the "Shift Leader") refused to guarantee a room change, hiding behind scripted phrases like "subject to availability upon arrival." They asked us to make changes through the third-party platflorm. They also refused a refund or any flexibility despite being notified 90 days in advance. They blame the third-party booking platform, while the platform says the hotel refuses to authorize the change and the change of bed type. It’s a classic "pass the buck" game. This hotel cares more about keeping your money than providing actual hospitality. If you make any mistake in your booking, don't expect any human help—just cold, scripted "No's." Total lack of professional ethics for a supposed 4-star hotel. Stay elsewhere in Bergen where they actually value guests. UPDATE: The hotel’s response below proves exactly why you should stay away. They claim they "cannot guarantee a change in advance," yet their official website still shows Double Rooms available for booking on July 4th. This is not a "policy" issue; it is a deliberate refusal to help a guest despite having the inventory to do so. Future guests: Be warned. If you make a typo or have an itinerary change, this management will NOT help you, even with 3 months' notice.
