Trondheim Pride

Trondheim Pride is a volunteer-run festival organised by FRI Trøndelag, held over about a week in early to mid-September, with the parade on the last Saturday. The 2026 programme ran from 4 to 12 September (per The Local). The parade on Saturday 12 September went along Kongens gate from 12:00 and ended with a show on Torvet, with Alessandra headlining (trondheimpride.no). FRI said more than 30,000 people took part. National mourning after King Harald V's death on 28 August ended with the funeral on 9 September, so a few early events were moved, but the parade went ahead.

Around the parade the programme has talks, concerts, the Skeiv Scene open mic, an English-language queer book club and student meetups. Most events are in Midtbyen and at Samfundet. Mid-September evenings are cool, so bring a jacket.

The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked. Going by recent years, expect the second week of September; see trondheimpride.no.
