Talking food the restaurant is worth a visit and we would return. We just had a couple of starters and the whitebait was the best I have had for a long time. Only recommendation would be to serve with a garlic mayonnaise which we received, once asked for. Clams were very nice and we have eaten a lot of clams in Portugal. Sauce was really tasty, just the clams were very small, need larger and should be served with free soft bread. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Decor is a bit odd with large octopus on the ceiling and neon sign but past this the seafood was tasty and fresh.

We ate at this restaurant twice during our one-week stay in Lisbon, and it was excellent every time. The food was delicious, the flavors were outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lisbon. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming. A special thank you to *Elena*, who was absolutely wonderful and made us feel truly welcome. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Lisbon!

Wonderful experience at Solar31! We had white wine, octopus, whole sea bream, oysters, and their homemade dessert, the Fidalgo. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it!

I went there because Chetjipt recommended it, but first of all, the location is out of the way, so I gave up on the first day. It was around 8 PM, and I was scared to go up the alleyway where there were no shops. On the second day, I went around 5 PM. It was the right way I was looking for, but I had to go up quite a long, secluded way, and there were a lot of men on the street, so I was scared. I heard the menu changes daily based on freshness, so I didn't choose anything in advance. I had a hard time deciding what to order. Maybe because I went with such high expectations due to the good ratings, it didn't quite live up to them. The ingredients did look fresh, though.

A special thank-you to Gustavo at Solar 31 for an outstanding dining experience. The seafood was among the best we had in Portugal, and the sea bass was genuinely one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. The attentive tableside service made the meal even more memorable. The interior may appear somewhat modest, but do not let that discourage you—the quality of the food and service is exceptional. Solar 31 is a must-visit for an incredible seafood experience in Lisbon.

My wife, who loves this dish, says it's the best octopus she's ever eaten. My fish was perfectly cooked, simply prepared but delicious. The service is perfectly adequate, the ambiance and decor unremarkable. Come for the food!
