I'm giving it one star because I can't give it less. The prices are absolutely outrageous (almost €5 for a non-alcoholic beer), the side of fries is pathetic, and the service is the slowest and most neglectful I've seen in ages. Plus, they refuse to serve coffee on the terrace. Edited in response to the owner's reply: in other bars in the area, beer is at most €3.80. If I had asked for more snacks (i.e., an extra bowl of fries, which is all they serve), I would have retired from waiting, given that it took them 30 minutes to take our order and almost 20 to bring us a beer, and it wasn't because the bar was full. It's a shame that the center of Madrid is filling up with these bars that have lost all the essence of Madrid tapas. They're predatory and don't treat customers well because they know there are always tourists around, guaranteeing them a steady stream of customers.

The service was incredibly attentive, a big shout-out to Will! We loved it, it was lovely, and I highly recommend it. We missed the olives, but overall, highly recommended.

Go Will! So kind, so thoughtful, such a legend. We love you. Please give him a bonus or something, I don't know, because he really went above and beyond. First day of 27 degrees in Madrid and he gave it his all. He was so determined and dedicated: he was on top of everything.

I loved Will's service. I recommend going and asking him to serve you. They could have used some good olives, but the fries were fine.
