Beware of promoters who approach you and take you to this strange place where there's no atmosphere and the cocktails are actually mocktails because they contain absolutely no alcohol! Don't fall for it, it's a scam ⚠️

This nightclub is, for me, the perfect example of pinkwashing: using the "gay-friendly" label as a marketing strategy to attract the LGBT+ community, but without offering an experience truly designed for that community. The music they play isn't geared towards the LGBT+ audience. What's playing inside is practically the same as in 80% of the clubs in the area. In a city like Salou, where there are already established venues, most of them open to all kinds of people, calling yourself "gay-friendly" should mean offering something different, not exactly the same as everyone else. If you want to attract pink money, you should first understand your audience. An LGBT+ night usually revolves around artists like Rihanna, Beyoncé, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Kylie Minogue, Dua Lipa, and other pop divas. You also expect to hear good house and electronic remixes, as well as Spanish and international anthems closely linked to the community. But it's not all about the music. A nightclub that uses the slogan "gay-friendly" should also offer a program to match. Bringing in drag queens only on opening night to attract customers and then forgetting about them gives the impression that they were just a marketing ploy. Having resident drag artists on weekends, organizing themed shows, or creating constant entertainment would add much more value to the experience. There are countless ways to transform any night into a true LGBT+ party: shows, contests, performances, go-go dancers, themed events, audience interaction… The community knows how to have fun, but they need the venue to create the right atmosphere. This criticism might seem harsh, but it's meant to encourage improvement. If you were truly committed to getting to know the community and building an experience designed for this audience, I'm convinced you'd have a packed house both in summer and winter. In this province, there are very few nightclubs that specifically promote themselves as "gay-friendly." That's why so many people end up traveling to Barcelona to enjoy a truly LGBT+ themed party. There's a huge opportunity to fill that void, but it takes more than just a poster or a slogan: it takes commitment.

We discovered this new place by chance, but the staff, music, atmosphere, cleanliness, and quality of the alcohol were all impressive.

After paying the cover charge for seven people and trying to have a good time, we danced to a couple of songs. I asked the waitress if we could request a song, and she told me to ask the DJ. I requested a song, and, as the self-proclaimed artist I am, I sang and danced along without bothering anyone in the crowd. No one else was requesting anything or dancing, so I requested another song, this time by Mónica Naranjo (even though the club is supposedly gay-friendly). When the song ended, after dancing to it peacefully, like anyone else would, I went to the bar to order a drink. The bartender, who was incredibly friendly, came to serve me, but someone—well, a girl—who was standing behind him told him he wouldn't serve me any more (even though I'd only had the cover charge all night). The waiter ruefully approached me and said they wouldn't let him serve me, but that if I really wanted another drink, he'd do something... I was upset and left... A bunch of other people followed me (of those who were there, because the club was empty at 4 a.m.). I have videos of everything and proof in case they try to say I was drunk or anything like that... This isn't a good way to start things off... Especially when you brag about being a gay-friendly club but then you're embarrassed when a customer dances to Melody's "Diva" or requests a Mónica Naranjo song. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I'M NOT GIVING IT A LOWER RATING BECAUSE I CAN'T.

The best club experience ever! New club so not so much people but service is very friendly and prices are fair. Liked more than Tropical!
