Elite Grand Hotel

The list of room service was not correct as the two numbers on the list did not work plus the phone was not even connected at first. When the boyfriend brought this up with the reception, they knew nothing about this list that was in the room. And since we wanted room service, we were given another number to call which would then lead to the restaurant which was responsible for food & drinks. When we called the new number, however, they came back to the reception and then suddenly they could take our order at the reception, which I thought was very confusing as they did not say anything when the boyfriend was down there talking to them, and then they themselves did not have a list of what you could order, such as drinks which meant that the boyfriend still had to run down and order himself at the bar, so I do not understand why they should be an intermediary between the guest and the restaurant, it just becomes incredibly messy and difficult and ruins this feeling of room service. Something that was supposed to be a little romantic instead became a running marathon for the boyfriend. xD

Very central and large hotel. Unfortunately we had to stay on the sixth floor and thus use a very small and old elevator (max 4 people), which created queues due to many hotel guests. The room was spacious and had AC, the big miss was that there were no blackout curtains or similar. Quite ok breakfast, but not at the same level as other elite hotels. A bit tricky with parking, but we finally found a parking lot about 200m away. The hotel is perceived as child-friendly!

Excellent location. Parking garage nearby. However, bad beds. Too soft. Disinterested staff. Worn out rooms.

The standard at Elite has unfortunately dropped noticeably in recent years. My experience is that there is a clear before and after the pandemic. When it comes to Elite Grand Hotel Norrköping in particular, the hotel does not live up to the four-star standard one expects. What brings down the rating the most is the cleaning. It seems that carpets, curtains and other textiles are no longer considered to be clean. Being met with stains in several places in the room already upon check-in gives a bad first impression and does not feel acceptable for a hotel in this price range. I also got the impression that there is a lack of staff presence in the corridors. It is understandable that there is garbage outside a room for a short time, but when the same garbage is left several hours later, it signals that no one is following up or keeping up. The ventilation is another disappointment. My window faced a glazed courtyard, which made the room warm and stuffy. The solution seems to be to set up a fan in the room, but it feels more like something you would expect at a simple highway motel than at a four-star Elite hotel.

Very nice as always at Elite, accommodating, fresh, very nice breakfast with lots to choose from. The bathroom is very small but nice and fresh anyway. A bit long waiting time for the elevator

Nice hotel in the middle of central Norrköping. The breakfast buffet was ok but the room was nice. French balcony and bathtub in the room. A bit expensive

Nice hotel, good price during summer! Clean and nice room . A bit hot in the room, no AC, only towerfan.

Slightly overpriced hotel, the breakfast room is small and definitely not sized for the rooms. The hotel is well located in Norrköping, close to everything! Nice view and a big plus that the windows can be opened for ventilation and fresh air!

A very worn out Elite hotel! Extremely doubtful if this hotel holds 4 stars, possibly 2-3 and with a good day in the wind a weak 3! The hotel is in need of renovation, the interior is worn out, the hotel feels a bit messy and our room did not feel completely fresh. The breakfast was ok but no more. Compared to many other Elite hotels that I have visited, this is so far one of the worst. Nice staff. What gives plus is possibly the location.

Disappointed with service. If you are disabled and need help, you shouldn't have to bother. I am a guest but if my money is not enough, it will be something else!

The hotel is very child-friendly. In addition to the usual breakfast buffet, there was also a smaller buffet with some goodies for the children. Also a nice simple playroom by the lobby which was appreciated! However, we are very dissatisfied with the so-called family room. The bathroom was so small that you could barely turn around.. will not choose this hotel if we travel with the children again because of that unfortunately. Otherwise a perfectly okay breakfast buffet. But I would probably say that there are better hotels for the money
