Having stayed at Postresidenz am See three years in a row, we can honestly say every visit has been outstanding and keeps getting better! The hotel’s location is ideal, with stunning views across the lake and the Tschuggen ski lift just across the road with the benefit of ski in ski out making mountain adventures effortless. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and the staff are always so welcoming. From the moment you walk through the front doors, the reception staff are ready to help with everything from local recommendations to booking the kids into ski school and even better kids receive 1/2 a day ski/snowboarding school for each night of your stay. We’ve stayed in the two-bedroom panoramic suites, which are perfect for larger families. They offer plenty of space, comfortable beds, two bathrooms, generous wardrobe storage, an open-plan kitchen-diner, and two balconies with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. The ski room is an excellent touch, with a locker assigned to your room and a lift conveniently located next door, taking you straight to the slopes. After a day on the mountain, the spa with small jacuzzi pool and sauna area is perfect for relaxing. It features three saunas, heated foot spas, a hot room, ice and a pool with bubble and wave features that our kids love. The food at Postresidenz am See restaurant Luftpost1928 is impeccable. Breakfast caters to all tastes, from cereals and yoghurts to hot dishes and fresh bakery goods and local Swiss cheeses, it’s easy to spend a couple of hours enjoying it. Evening meals feel like fine dining in a top-class restaurant, yet comfortable to be able to enjoy with children. The open-plan kitchen means you can watch the chefs at work and they’re always happy and open to talk. The half board menu is high-quality and varied, with lots of local seasonal produce and great options for children as well. All the staff go above and beyond to make you feel looked after, and by the end of our stay, we truly felt like part of the family. Leaving is always difficult. We cannot recommend Postresidenz am See highly enough. Every stay has been so memorable and we wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else in Arosa. We had an absolutely perfect stay at this hotel! We received an incredibly warm welcome upon check-in and immediately felt at home. The entire staff was attentive, professional, and incredibly helpful at all times. Our room was spotlessly clean, stylishly furnished, and very comfortable – you can immediately tell that great emphasis is placed on quality and attention to detail. We were particularly impressed by the peaceful atmosphere and the comfortable beds. The breakfast was varied and beautifully presented, with a wide selection of fresh food that provided a perfect start to the day. The hotel's location is also excellent – ​​situated right next to the train station and ideal for easily exploring the beautiful mountain region. Overall, a first-class experience that even exceeded our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

A truly exceptionally charming hotel. The Postresidenz am See in Arosa is small, intimate, and yet of a very high standard. The service is consistently attentive and warm. We had a two-room suite with a kitchen, which was absolutely perfect: very spacious, high-quality furnishings, modern yet cozy. The complimentary Halfeti shower gel was the icing on the cake. The spa area is rather compact but offers everything you need. It was particularly pleasant that it was never crowded, allowing us to truly relax. The food was also excellent and perfectly complemented our stay. I highly recommend it – ideal if you're looking for something quieter and more personal without compromising on quality.
