Willow Corner, a thatched‑cottage bed‑and‑breakfast in Armscote, offers a quiet, period‑styled retreat a quick drive from Stratford‑upon‑Avon and the Cotswolds. The village of Armscote sits on The Terrace, about 15 minutes south of Stratford‑upon‑Avon. A car is essential here, but the drive is worth it for the easy access to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the northern Cotswolds. Inside, the cottage keeps its original charm. Each bedroom comes with its own bathroom, a flat‑screen TV, and a tea‑and‑coffee tray stocked with snacks. The décor is understated, letting the period details do the talking. Guests get a cooked breakfast on the house, and parking and Wi‑Fi are free. The place is listed as gay‑friendly, but it’s a mainstream guest house, not a nightlife spot. Because reviews are sparse, give the number +44 1608 682391 a call before you book to make sure they’re still accepting guests.
