Acqua Sauna

Very disappointed today Sunday 5th April 2026. Steam room ,hot tub and sauna not working. We were not informed of this upon entering so basically we paid £15 entry fee for nothing. We complained to reception on leaving but did not receive a satisfactory answer and no offer of a refund. Basically if you are planning to go today don't bother

Extremely disappointed with my visit to Aqua Sauna in Blackpool. The place was visibly not clean and felt neglected throughout. For somewhere that should prioritise hygiene and comfort, it fell far below basic expectations. The staff were cold, unfriendly, and completely unwelcoming. It genuinely doesn’t take much to smile or show basic customer service, but instead I felt like an inconvenience from the moment I walked in. They looked like they didn’t want to be there and gave off the impression they simply didn’t care. That alone sets a negative tone straight away. To make matters worse, the venue itself was cold and almost completely empty, apart from a couple of old men. There was no atmosphere at all, just an uncomfortable, lifeless environment. Save your money. It’s not worth the effort, and I definitely won’t be returning.

Went here with a mate yesterday (Sunday afternoon) the chap on reception was very friendly and told us where everything was. The vibe was nice, not overly busy but not too quiet either. We enjoyed the facilities, no complaints and the free drinks/ replacement towels were a nice touch. It was a bit of a more mature crowd but we expected that and no complaints from us. The only feedback i'd say is that the fish tank could use a clean, but thats being VERY picky 😂 cheers for a relaxing couple hours, we'll be back

Very nice staff welcoming

Have visited here a couple of times now, staff very welcoming, place very clean, plenty of areas to explore and relax. Love free tea/ coffee. Hot tub was nice, wish it was hotter and less chlorine as I felt it hurt my eyes a little. Also the steam room could do with it being hotter / more Steam. Shall be back very soon. Any chance of hooks near hot tub for towels?

My first visit - taking shelter from a bitterly cold day! First impressions - a bit shabby and in need of some tlc. Nice lounge area, and good to have free teas/coffees. Very quiet (counted 9 people in 3 hours) when I visited and all of a 'certain age'. Steam room was lacking in steam and could have been warmer. Sauna a bit cramped (so perhaps as well not many there!), and several holes in the thin wood panelling. Showers small and fixed overhead nozzles not esp. user friendly. Lack of hooks to hang towels by jacuzzi. A warren of small dark rooms etc., but not very inviting, and a lot of draughts! But everywhere did seem pretty clean - tho not sure what might be lurking in all the greenery above the jacuzzi! Probably my least favourite sauna to date. addendum Dec 2025 I had heard the place had been refurbished so revisited during my recent visit to B'pool's Bears Weekend. There certainly had been some improvements - the new basement area was a welcome addition and well-presented (tho not sure it needed quite so many individual glory hole cubicles!) The rest of the place seemed little changed, tho in a bit better repair, and less drafts. Still a lack of hooks near the hot tub. The two shower cubicles were inadequate on such a busy day (queues at times) and just as cramped and inconvenient - there is underused space nearby which could easily be converted to a more user-friendly communal shower area. But generally a much more pleasant visit.

I visited in the early hours of Saturday morning, Mark on reception was super friendly and welcoming I found it to be clean, everything working, yes some parts are showing there age but I think the new owners have big plans moving forward, The new area down stairs was outstanding well planned out and plenty of places to relax 😊 No comments on how busy it was, or peoples age this is irrelevant like all saunas can be hit and miss Very much enjoyed my visit and definitely be back next time I'm in Blackpool

Visited sauna to day met some nice people enjoyed my experience As a Bi guy I felt it was a save place to go 10/10

I visited last Saturday for only the 2nd time. Unfortunately train issues caused me a problem getting from Burnley and return. The trains are still disrupted so will not be there this weekend. As for the venue itself. Friendly staff. Free breakfast and toast along with endless hot drinks. Facilities good although I ask that the jacuzzi tub is looked at owing to some of the plastic trim being broken. I had the pleasure of having fun with a few guys whilst there. I will be back as soon as trains are sorted out.. I would come on the car but finding free parking in the area could be difficult unless the venue can suggest somewhere. Dave

Needs significant improvement or relocation. Not suitable for disabled customers.

Friendly staff. Lower floor good Heating not working correctly. Staff did not disclose on entry. Staff walking round in hoodi. Only stay 30 mins When said to staff on leaving all got was a sorry we know. Sorry your reply was so negative They wore the hodi because of the temprature. And i over heard then saying to another customer they new there was a leak but had not found it. As for 4 hours thinck you should aslo look at your system it was 30 /40 mins instead of telling your customers their lieying to protect your own issues.
