A brilliant find. Great, stunning location. We stayed in cottage 1 that sleeps 6. We are a family of 5 and there was plenty of living and sleeping space. The cottage was very clean and very comfortable. It was well appointed, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher. Judy and Lisa were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. A great place, highly recommended

Had a great time with my family at lovely Buttermilk cottage. Spent New year here and Lisa the manager and Judy the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. The cottage was very clean and cosy. Had everything we needed and loved the big kitchen. Would have no hesitation booking again and highly recommend. Thank you for making our New Year celebrations special!

Just back from an amazing week in Buttermilk Cottage, can’t recommend this place enough, spotlessly clean, beautiful setting and dog friendly the hosts Judy and Norman are two very special people who made our holiday perfect,

Had a wonderful stay here in Buttermilk cottage with my husband, "kids" (17&21) and whippet, we had a fabulous time. The setting is really peaceful and the house felt really homely and welcoming. The gardens were beautiful with lots of nice touches and the two large fields were perfect for walking the dog, we even saw a couple of deer one day. We all enjoyed the pool table but especially our kids. Kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the goodies left by Judy and Norman, who were our lovely, friendly hosts. The bathrooms were equally well equipped with plenty of towels and travel toiletries (which was fantastic as certain members of our group had forgotten to pack some!). The house was also lovely and clean. We would highly recommend Beech Farm Cottages and hope to return in the future.
