Altos de Güemes Hotel

Excellent hotel and an unbeatable location. We stayed at Altos de Güemes and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is very welcoming, peaceful, and well-maintained. The staff was excellent, always very friendly and attentive. The location is one of its biggest advantages, just steps from Güemes Street, with countless restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. It's also close to the coast and Varese Beach. The breakfast is very good, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. It's a charming hotel, ideal for a romantic getaway. We would definitely return. Highly recommended.

Staying at Altos del Güemes is a unique and lovely way to experience Mar del Plata, not only because of its location but also because of the experience of staying in a carefully preserved historic Mar del Plata mansion. It's wonderful that they preserve this kind of heritage, as it allows you to discover the city through its architecture and history. Walking through the Stella Maris neighborhood, among its old houses, is part of the charm of the stay. We stayed two nights in a classic double room. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and the shower worked perfectly. Although we went in winter and it was quite cold in Mar del Plata, the temperature throughout the hotel was always very pleasant. Our room faced the street, but it was quiet, and we were able to sleep very well. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with great kindness. It's clear they pay attention to detail, and there's always someone available to help. Everything was very clean, and the rooms are warm and comfortable. The breakfast is very complete: toast, eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and a good variety of pastries. The location is excellent for exploring the Güemes and Stella Maris neighborhoods. It's close to the Güemes shopping promenade, the beach, and the Torreón del Monje. We found the value for money to be very good. It's an excellent option for those looking for comfort, good service, and a unique experience.
