TransGrupo Marcela Prado

TransGrupo Marcela Prado is a Curitiba organisation that works on the rights of travestis, transsexual and transgender people. It grew out of Grupo Dignidade's trans group in 2004 and became a separate organisation in 2006. Its work covers citizenship and documentation, health, education, safety and culture for the trans community. It shares premises with Grupo Dignidade on Avenida Marechal Floriano Peixoto in the centre. Contact the group before visiting, as it is a service organisation rather than a drop-in venue.
