João Pessoa Pride (Parada da Diversidade)

João Pessoa's Pride, now called the Parada da Diversidade (earlier the Parada do Orgulho LGBTQIAPN+ or Parada da Cidadania LGBT), runs along the Cabo Branco and Tambaú seafront. It usually gathers on Avenida Cabo Branco near Sesc and heads toward the Busto de Tamandaré. The date isn't fixed: the 22nd edition was on 19 November 2023, the 23rd on 25 August 2024, the 24th on Saturday 6 December 2025 and the 25th on Sunday 30 August 2026, with free entry and local drag and music acts such as Salete Campari and Estefanny Alvares. The Fórum Paraibano LGBTQIAPN+ organised the 2025 edition with city hall support. The 2027 date hasn't been announced at the time of writing, so check the parade's Facebook page (paradalgbtoficial.jp) before planning around it. Organisers have quoted crowd expectations, but there are no independent attendance counts.
