Mossoró Pride (Parada do Orgulho LGBTQIAPN+)

The Parada do Orgulho LGBTQIAPN+ de Mossoró came back in November 2025 after almost 15 years. The earlier Parada Gay de Mossoró, organised by the NGO STV Brasil, reached its sixth edition in September 2010, and the organisers said the 2009 parade drew about 17,000 people. The 7th edition, themed "Memória, Resistência e Futuro", began with an academic day at UFERSA on Friday 7 November 2025. On Saturday 8 November people gathered from 4 pm on the square of the Teatro Municipal Dix-Huit Rosado for a creative-economy fair and performances, and the march set off along Avenida Rio Branco at 6 pm. The night ended with an after-party at Beat House on the Corredor Cultural. It was funded by a state and federal culture grant, so another edition isn't guaranteed. No 2026 or 2027 date had been announced when we checked in October 2026.
