Ramada by Wyndham Princess Belize City

I understand that the Ramada chain of hotels is usually lower quality but this was disappointing even for that. There was mold in my food, mold in the shower, there was a street vendor that came on the property and was pretty pushy with selling his fragrance. He even went inside to the lobby to sell his fragrance and the staff just let him do so. All 6 of us couldn't sleep because the music down the block from us was way too loud. I know they can't control that but they could have at least gave us a heads up that there's a huge festival going on that will be blasting music all night. The staff was alright, not welcoming but not rude by any means, other people coming in for the casino put off a weird vibe. Just felt uncomfortable. Stay at the Best Western Biltmore, it is 1000 times better in every way.

Worst experience ever. Rooms were so dirty we moved to a new hotel the next day. Room was dirty,beds dirty, bathroom had mold everywhere. You could smell the mold when you walked in. The staff was so unfriendly, and did not want you there. The casino was a joke. You have to declare american money or belize money before hand and they did not tell you that upon check on so we gambled with american and they gave us belize back. Played the table in roulette and they didn't pay twice on a win. They said we bet wrong. I would NOT go here. Pictures on Expedia and other booking sites do not state the condition of this place. They were so unfriendly it was unreal. Next morning booked a new place.

The check-in is delayed and under-staffed. The pool is out of order and there's really no other access to water. The people who work here are nice though. The rooms are adequate but nothing special. The hotel is about 25 minutes from BZE Airport. Minimal dining options if you want to venture away from the one restraunt in the hotel

I can only talk on the 3 rooms that I reserved for a girls trip...The 2 stars are for the beautiful lobby and the employees there were very nice. Now for the 3 rooms...they were dated, looking about to fall apart, no hot water, no ice bucket, horrible food, nothing really nearby, if you close the drapes you won't get any air from the air conditioning unit (shorter drapes needed), pool out of order, movie theatre cost, drinks horrible and probably watered down, smoking allowed in the tiny casino, drinks free in casino if playing except wine, continental breakfast gross, the doors only shut properly if you slam them. The pictures you see on their site that make the place look good are lies. This is by far the worse ramada inn I have every stayed in.

I'm a fan of the casino; they also have a movie theater.

All the employees were rude, and our box of leftovers somehow vanished. But the rooms were relatively clean, and the wifi was okay.

Very smokey atmosphere in gaming room

We were put up here due to a flight delay. The buffet they offered was depressing. Several guests left to go elsewhere. The rooms are old, the air conditioning smells like it's been poorly maintained, and the pool is completely empty! Part of the hotel is abandoned, and that's not an exaggeration. However, the staff does everything they can.

The hotel is decent. I understand the bad reviews because there are some silly issues, but they all fall into the "who cares" category. For example, the rooms are nice and clean, but the hallways are dirty. The included breakfast buffet is generally good, but there are a few baffling shortcomings, such as: alongside perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, there are undercooked potatoes and a broken toaster. Overall, nothing that would warrant changing your stay. And the pizzeria next door is excellent.
