Bar Le Sacrilège

A bar that stops playing music at 2 a.m.... It's not fulfilling its commitment to its customers. A shame.

First visit and had a drink, nice back terrace. Service not very fast, we had to go inside.

I would have liked to describe my first experience at this legendary drinking establishment on the equally legendary Saint-Jean Street, in the equally legendary Saint-Jean-Baptiste district, which some refer to as the mythical "Faubourg Saint-Jean." Of course, such a description of this first experience couldn't ignore the jokes heard that evening, the pitchers of beer and other enjoyable cocktails savored with friends seated around the same table, which had gone from being impeccably clean to a sticky, gummy mess, "at your own risk, ready, go" (when you have a legendary night, you're allowed to coin a few new expressions, just to build your ever-evolving myth), but since this first experience took place in 2003, I was advised to return to confirm my impressions from that first visit. So I went back there recently, actually about two years ago, and then a few times afterwards, and I must admit that I didn't feel too out of place: in the afternoon, you can find some of the customers sitting in their favorite spot, which they assigned themselves in 1998 or 1999, while younger customers come to play musical games on certain days of the week, where you can hear some pieces that I had probably heard for the first time during that first experience.

Excellent service, however Yamina is the BEST barmaid ever! We all hope to see her more often this summer!!
