Seven Oaks Hotel Regina

Not bad. Clean and basic. Staff at front desk needs customer training. I liked that there was a pool and a water slide even though I didn’t utilized it . Persons seemed to be having fun with their children. Requested not to be on the ground floor nobody listened. And when I asked for a changed, I was informed that those were the only rooms available in a dismissive manner. As I said it was just okay, and I doubt I would return.

We found a roach underneath a sink, it was HUGE and so damn fast. Made me never wanna come back again knowing they can literally hitchhike on anything my daughter pointed it out and was like “awww bug” and I’m like bug?!? And yeah sure enough it was a huge roach.

It was a decent stay. I loved the pool access. The washroom is tiny, and the room we stayed in had a shower that makes an annoying sound when you turn it on. Staff were okay and service was quick. Great for families, mid‑range price, and a convenient location. I’d recommend it if you’re travelling with kids — just don’t expect a fancy room setup.

Great place to stop on a long road trip. Its missing a couple of specific five star amenities, but zero specific complaints.

Found out the hard way that the trains in Regina whistle throughout the whole city (all times of the day/night) and the tracks are like 30 ft from the building. I also wished the doors blocked out the noise in the hallways a bit more, I totally understand families go to this place for the water park, but for someone who is asleep before the pools closes, it was disruptive. And the AC unit is just a clunky noisy fan , doesn't even cool down the slightest.

Good: - service at breakfast. Waitresses are fantastic - clean room, no bug issues (other reviews mention bugs) - vouchers cover pretty good amount at breakfast - food is good! Bad: - rooms are wildly humid, no fan in bathroom. A dehumidifier would go a long way in here. - pool hours are not all day, huge gap from 11AM-4PM - early check in at a fee per hour? Why, if my rooms ready? - TVs don’t have hdmi capabilities - pool is over chlorinated, or something? We all got burning red eyes Biggest critique: while I understand that the pool needs to be closed at night, the interior rooms with balconies should be able to use them at night. The balcony door is locked at night, perhaps a locked gate leading to the pool staircase? If we had the option to sit on our balcony after the kids went to bed it would be a game changer.

First night we were there, there was partiers in the next room to us I had to call down to the front desk twice and nothing was done, the chairs in our room were so stained didnt want to sit on them, I know i will never use this hotel again.

When we checked in I went to what I thought was their website on Google when I typed it in. The lady informed me that was not their website and I had booked 15 breakfasts. I told her I didn't because I was only charged for 4 which was correct but she was trying to collect the money for the other 11. I was dealing with the manager I felt she was slightly rude and said next time it would not be able to be changed as it was not their official website. As far as the pool goes the slide definitely needed some repairs done on it as it seems like it's chipping paint.
