Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton Windsor

I attended a job fair at this location. The venue was clean, organized, and easy to find. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Checked into our room and went to close the blind and it unravelled . Went to the front desk to report this, but it was extremely busy and could not wait longer than the 15 minutes. We had been waiting to tell them how to get to a reservation. The next morning checked out at 6:30 AM again went to the front desk to notify them about the blind one person on staff, which was understandable at that hour, but they were busy and I could not get their attention to tell them. Waited for a while but again had to leave to get to a charity golf tournament. A charge of $258.77 was put on our friends credit card within a different room but had done the booking for both of us. It took four phone calls over four days to finally get the GM to return a phone call. Explained what had happened that we had not broken the blind. It had not come off the ball. It was not ripped. There was no damage to it other than it would not roll up. He said he could not rent the room out because of that therefore we had to pay for lost revenue. I asked him if the blind had been replaced he said no it had been repaired. It was a plastic clip that was broken. I tried to explain that should be normal wear and tear on a roller blind, and that sun deteriorates plastic and it was our unfortunate luck that it gave away while we were there. He refused to reverse the charges. our friend put in a dispute with her credit card company explaining the situation and that it was not even the correct room that the charge went on. A few days later, the charge was removed from her credit card and put onto my credit card. Once again called the GM and again he refused to reverse these charges.

Nice modern rooms, staff gave us water even if we were not diamond. Nice touch. Awesome blackout curtains.

We had a bad experience with the blind in a room we booked a stay in. When we tried to close it, it just kept rolling down. It did not come away from the wall. Apparently there was a small part that broke. This we believe is due to constant wear of the blind. We cannot seem to be able to resolve the issue with the unprofessional general manager Ken who has charged our credit card for damages. This clearly was not our fault. We were 2 senior ladies in the room who did not damage anything. We are very disappointed in the Hampton Inn and will never stay in another one if they do not reverse the charges. Also the General Manager hung up on me when trying to resolve the issue.

Had a lot of hopes from this hotel but didn’t live up to expectation. - went into the room and there was this weird smell from the carpet - mold in shower area - wanted to warm up milk for my toddler so we asked for a glass/cup that we could microwave in and were told the hotel doesn’t have any glassware 🤷🏻 - no slippers provided when asked 🤷🏻🤷🏻 - asked for dental kit and staff told me to pick it up from the reception… room service??? 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻 - poor acoustic insulation as we could hear kids running in the hallway and other noisy guests 👎 Overall, we ended up paying $200+ for a night and experience just didn’t live up to it.

First off, this is absolutely the best “quality for the price” hotel on Huron Church Rd and is best for families. There were some minor inconveniences because of communication issues with the hotel and the app, but the rooms were clean and I enjoyed my stay there.

Easy check in, stayed in room 206. Clean room - bed, bathroom and living space all spotless. Breakfast had lots of varieties - bacon, omelette, toast, waffle maker, fruits…etc. Staff were friendly and informative. They had elevator maintenance and notified us upon checking in so we were able to move to a lower floor. Lots of places to eat in the area. Highly recommended and would stay again.

Stayed 3 days and pool closed entire time. Room was ok but Electrical outlet at desk was sparking. Television difficult to find anything on. ROOM WAS VERY NOISY FROM TRANSPORTS HEADING TO AMBASSADOR BRIDGE. "Free" breakfast was awful! Eggs inedible, ... Coffee terrible. Only clean room every 2nd day. You have to make your own bed!
