Punta Teonoste Beach Resort

This was our second time visiting this hotel. The first time, I came with my spouse, and this time I decided to bring my children. We love traveling around the country and have visited many places, but I truly fell in love with this one because of its rustic charm. During our first visit, the experience was amazing very similar to the service you receive in hotels in Cuba. From the moment we arrived, they offered to help us with our luggage and welcomed us with a cocktail. Everything was spotless. They even asked us what time we wanted breakfast and what we would like to eat. I remember we said 10:00 a.m., and right at 10:00 a.m., the phone rang to let us know our breakfast was ready. It was a beautiful experience. The white sand and the beach felt like a dream. I was truly impressed with the level of service—it felt unique in Nicaragua. However, this second visit was very different. We arrived with our children, and although they did offer help with our luggage. didn’t gave us a welcome drink, the experience was not the same. We arrived late, and even after two hours past check-in time, we were still waiting for our room because they said they needed to inspect it. Eventually, much later, they told us it was ready. By then it was already late, so we just dropped our things and went to the beach. The next day, when we had to return the towels, we noticed they were dirty. I even took a photo and showed it to the receptionist. The towels and pillowcases had visible blood stains, which was extremely disappointing and honestly very unpleasant. The place itself is still beautiful and has a lot of potential, and the staff is generally kind and attentive. However, the cleanliness this time did not meet expectations at all. My recommendation to the owner or management would be to carefully supervise the cleaning process and ensure that rooms, towels, and bedding are properly cleaned and replaced before guests arrive. Our first visit was wonderful, but bringing my children this time turned into a very disappointing experience

A beautiful place, a very, very beautiful beach.

The hotel is truly welcoming and beautiful. They have a spectacular thatched-roof pavilion, a large pool, and comfortable rooms. The view, and especially the beach, are wonderful. The staff is very friendly and quite helpful. However, I think the service could be better; on more than one occasion, the wait time for our food and drinks was absurdly slow.

Terrible service from the moment of booking. The food was unpleasant. Poor communication during the booking process; they didn't know the prices and didn't read customer requests. And upon arrival, they doubled the price they had previously quoted. From the start, they acted offended and ignored customer requests. They claimed they were trying to explain the situation through arguments. I do not recommend this place.

Worst

Mattresses full of springs. Expensive for that area. But the breakfast was delicious and the owner's service was great too.
