I was taken here for lunch direct from the airport in Port-au-Prince, as it's only 5 minutes away. Behind the gates and guards it's a total contrast to the heat, rubbish and human cauldron outside. Green lawns, cool Aircon, polite staff and excellent food including authentic Creole specialities. I would give it 5* but it's uncomfortable eating in the lap of luxury when most of Haiti struggle for the basics.
The first place to stop by for Lunch. We just got in in Haiti and we are hungry. Really close to the airport and accessible. The place quiet and clean the atmosphere is good so its a good place to decompress after a long day of travel.
Convenient to the hotel but then again who is going to venture out for dinner in Port Au Prince? The service was sub-par. We provided our order (large group) an hour before our reservation and still had to wait 45+ minutes for meals to arrive and they still got it wrong. The pizza was under cooked too boot.
Was there on a medical mission. Went out for supper here twice as a large group. Food was consistent and good. Prices were reasonable. Drinks were tastey and service was fair. Did not stay at the hotel. Atmosphere was lovely and after dark ypu could see the fruit bats out.
It is convenient to have a room at servotel and to have diner there. But do not expect a great diner, choice is poor and quality just average
Me and my two associates visited this hotel restaurant with a couple we were showing around the area. We were treated terrifically by the staff of this euro-style hotel and restaurant. While sitting in the restaurant you can do a lot of people watching as there are visitors from all over the world using the hotel and eating in the white table-clothed establishment. It is located immediately adjacent to the swimming pool so that you can enjoy the grounds and reflected waters. The menu offers both Haitian and more American-themed items, including hamburgers, pizza, and spaghetti. I found the hamburger to be very good by Haitian standards. Cokes are served the old-fashioned Haitian way from glass bottles with a straw and iced glass. Prices are not too bad as four of us ate for about $56 USD.
They served "hamburgers" that are actually pork burgers and I got Travelers diarrhea from it. Worst week of my life since I got back to the states. I ate and drank clean every day except at the restaurant
An excellent choice after a long week of ministry in hot and dusty Haiti. The staff are friendly and helpful, the amenities work perfectly, and the hotel is priced right for what you get. Being minutes away from the airport with an early morning flight is an added plus. We will definitely return!
We ate several times at the Servotel restaurant and our family preferred the small and simple dishes as quesadillas, grilled vegetable wraps, bacon-cheese-baguettes or the chocolate deserts like the marquise au chocolat. We would not advice the burgers and there are certainly other places to eat pizza.
The atmosphere, service, and cocktails are all very nice at Servotel. However, you're definitely paying for it, so it should be. They have a nice espresso, but it's not really a value since the large is still relatively small, even for an espresso. The waiters are fantastic and very friendly. However, the food is hit or miss and none of it is really worth the price point. After eating there twice, I would say that you are definitely paying for the atmosphere.
