Beautiful well maintained hotel. Staff was very polite and helpful.

Beautiful historic building nicely renovated and maintained. Still dark. Bar staff slow and sometimes unattended. Dirty Glasses stack up while staff attended to social media on phones . Load local news of crime playing on TV's.. this place could do better with if really managed

Location is the heart of Guadalajara at times Ubers might take longer to get there due to traffic but our stay was excellent. The hotel offers great deals for tours, I recommend to book with them it is safe. Our driver was an amazing person. You might be lucky and have the tour just for your own group. The hotels restaurant is a great option. Food was delicious, excellent service and prices are fair. I will definitely will go back and recommend the stay. The hotel has elevators 🛗 in case you take mom or grandma like we did.

My stay was from May 2nd to 7th. My experience: I appreciate the attention of Irene, Salma, and Javier, people with big hearts and a desire to serve. I would return because of them. I recommend working with the receptionist. We must look after the customer, be empathetic, and remember that we come here by choice; there are many hotels. Training for the cleaning staff is essential, in both cases teaching them that a "good morning" and courtesy are fundamental. See Irene, Javier, and Salma. There is a bad smell in the drains, which I reported. The food and service in the restaurant were excellent. In the other areas, they need to work on staff training. Thank you

The hotel is very beautiful, with a charming colonial style and a location very close to the city center. Before checking in, we read the reviews and it generally had good ratings, but it seems we had bad luck during our stay. The first night, the sink was leaking and water was overflowing, so we had to report it for repair. The next day, we decided to spend the afternoon at the pool and requested towels four times, but they never brought them. That same night, the toilet tank stopped filling, so it couldn't be used properly; we reported that too. When they finally came to address this last problem, they arrived with the towels we had requested hours earlier for the pool, which showed a lack of coordination, since at that moment the urgent issue was fixing the bathroom. Furthermore, although they apparently repaired the leak, the problem wasn't completely solved, as we then had to flush up to three times for it to work properly. Finally, on our last night, we noticed some guests eating dinner outside their room (there are tables in the area), and the next afternoon the dirty plate with food scraps was still there. None of the housekeeping staff picked it up or cleaned the area, which gives the impression that there's a lack of proper cleaning control at the hotel.
