Canario Boutique Hotel

The room is pretty small, not much space to move around. One night the water went out and we had no way to brush our teeth. The room is pretty dirty in some areas like under the bed and in the corners. The lamp in the room didn’t work and there was only one outlet available that was loose and our cables would fall with any wrong move. They only occasionally made the bed but they never changed the sheets. You can hear noise coming from the hallways and other guests in the hotel had very loud music playing. No garbage can in the room only in the bathroom but it wasn't changed frequently. In the bathroom there wasn't much space to put anything other than your tooth brush. The light in the bathroom was very dim so it’s hard to see much. The location of the hotel itself was pretty good. Easy access to Condado beach and many restaurants and even a Walgreens. The people there are really nice and helpful with anything you need. Overall the stay wasn’t horrible, it just had the bare minimum.

this hotel was good. relatively clean. slightly dated not luxury but has a tropical vintage charm. everything went well minus the one night after a long day excursion at the beach and kayaking biobay we got back ready to shower and the water was shut off so my brother and i fell asleep above our covers feeling gross waiting for the water to possibly turn back on in the night. idk if this was the hotel’s issue or area- just unfortunate and annoying. no water bottles- but there is a water tank in kitchen. some things in the room didn’t work like hairdryer and safe. bed was a bit sunken it but didn’t bother me. other than that, the stay was great and modest for what we needed. lack of amenities- like no pool, breakfast, stuff like that if that’s something you’re looking for. but there are plenty of nearby restaurants and cafes. they provide beach towels. location is great it’s basically beachfront without a view. friendly service, however at many times there was no one at the front desk including when we arrived and tried to check in early.

do not stay in this nasty hotel. when house keeping came they didn’t switch any bed sheets or towels out, the just dressed the room with the same sheets and towels. what the hell is the point of that??? on TOP OF THAT. THEY STOLE MY GLASSES!! my prescription glasses! i had everything else locked away in my luggage. but the one thing i left out they stole!!! so far they’re making excuses for the staff. my glasses stayed in my nightstand the whole time for when i went to bed. now they’re gone! THANKS!!

Room sadly was not as expected. Unfortunately it was dirty. Had to request for sheet change after checking in.. Had to keep slippers on feet entire stay because it felt really dirty. The front desk staff was on point and helpful. Eddy was nice! Johnny was more of a tour guy for me🤣 very nice man and made the hotel stay 100X better. He helped me out so much! Went above and beyond. If I was to ever go back. It would be because of him. Thank you Johnny.

We had an amazing stay at Canario Boutique Hotel. It’s a great hotel in a perfect location, just steps from the beach and within great distance to restaurants, shops, and everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very relaxing after a long day out. The bathrooms were also big and clean, which made the stay even better. The staff truly made the experience special, especially Eddie, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and amazing throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient place to stay.

This HOTEL❤️was EXCELLENT! Booked this hotel for a short 6 day stay, and everything was AMAZING. The location was absolutely PERFECT! In the heart of San Juan, literally behind it was the Condado beach, and walking distance to many restaurants and shops like: Walgreens, Souvenir Shops, Sushi, Puerto Rican cuisine, Night-Life, etc. Super safe, and pure Happiness. The front desk personal EDDY was absolutely friendly from begin to end. Greeted us with a Smile, was polite, hepled us when needing anything, and a great guide to near by places or things to know about throughout our stay. The room was EXCELLENT, spacious and extremely comfortable. AC was absolutely great & fantastic especially with the heat in Puerto Rico, the bed-sheets-pillows were like sleeping on straight clouds after long days of beach excursions or outdoor activities. The bathrooms super clean, large, had bathroom essentials, huge mirrors and very spacious. This Hotel Canario Boutique made me feel super safe, at home, super comfortable and extremely happy EVERY-DAY of my Trip. Thank you Eddy for being friendly, kind, also had a smile during our interactions on our hotel stay.

Unbeatable value for location. Hotel was clean and laid back. I would stay again. Only issue was poor wifi connection

This cute boutique hotel was incredibly cozy and comfortable from the moment I arrived. The staff was so kind and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. The location is absolutely perfect walking distance to so many great spots, including the beach. My only regret is not finding this place sooner during my visit to Puerto Rico, but I’m so happy I discovered it now because I will definitely be back. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. If you’re looking for an affordable stay with a cozy atmosphere, great location, and welcoming service, this is the place for you. Highly recommend and already looking forward to my next stay.

This hotel is where everything and near anything in Condado is, also very close to Santruce as well. Immensely kind staff, very reasonable accommodations, and honestly the best stay I've had in San Juan.
