St. Kitts & Nevis Alliance for Equality (SKNAFE)

The St. Kitts & Nevis Alliance for Equality (SKNAFE) is a small LGBTQ+ advocacy organisation based in Basseterre. Its work is mainly rights advocacy, community support and awareness campaigns, and it was a claimant in the case in which the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court struck down the federation's colonial-era laws against same-sex intimacy in 2022. There is no public office address or website in our data, so contact it through its social media accounts. Same-sex couples have no legal recognition in St. Kitts and Nevis, and social attitudes are conservative; visitors should be discreet in public.
