The Knights & Orchids Society

The Knights and Orchids Society (TKO) is a grassroots organisation in Alabama led by Black queer and trans people. It provides direct support to Black trans and gender-nonconforming people, including help getting health care, sexual-health and HIV services, and basic needs. It also does advocacy work on gender justice. The group is best known for its work based in Selma, so it may not have an office in Birmingham.
