Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Waterbury Stowe

I've stayed at dozens of Fairfields and this is my second favorite after North Conway NH. Unlike that property, it has little to no view and it's on a main road. The common areas and rooms were very clean and decorated nicely. The staff was cordial. The typical breakfast was good with a few rotating options, including soft apple scones. I also liked that they had free indoor & outdoor parking. Can't wait to return. The only minor issue and it might not even be the hotel is that some machinery nearby came on very early each morning during our 2 day, around 6ish?. The noise is annoying. Perhaps ask for a room facing the front.

Very good place to stay

Great service. Unfortunately the road noise is super loud when facing the highway. Windows are old and unsealed. If you are a light sleeper, skip this location or request a room facing the back.

A Fairfield with Vermont charm. Great location for activities on both Waterbury and Stowe.

We stayed here on a motorcycle trip through New England from South Carolina in June. Of all of the places we stayed on our trip, this was the nicest. This hotel is well above the standard for a Fairfield Inn. The finishes are nicer and everything had a much more high end feel than I am used to seeing from a Fairfield. While we were there one person on our trip was not feeling well. Rob was very helpful. He offered us late check, said he could extend our stay if needed, and was very friendly. He even gave recommendations on some things we could do while we waited for our friend to feel better.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful with everything we needed. After long days of exploring, coming back to relax in the nice indoor pool and hot tub was the perfect treat.The hotel’s central location makes it the ideal base camp for a Vermont getaway. We were able to easily fill our days seeing stunning waterfalls, historic covered bridges, and a breathtaking gorge. Craft beer lovers will rejoice, as some of the best breweries in the state are just a short drive away. Plus, having the iconic Ben & Jerry’s factory so close by was a delicious bonus! We cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be back.
