The Birch & Berry Inn

Super cute, very clean, and owner is very helpful. We stayed with our three kids in the two second floor rooms, which was a perfect set-up for a family of 5. We were offered homemade scones upon arrival and bagels and coffee for breakfast- all delicious. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back on our next Vermont trip.

We loved our stay at the Birch & Berry. Such a cute place, with many nice touches. The room was spacious, lovely, and very comfortable bed. The innkeepers are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast options were limited, but we greatly enjoyed the home-baked sourdough bagels. Appreciated the coffee/espresso machine in the common area. All in all, it was excellent. Highly recommend.

Michael and his family have a fabulous place to stay and is central to Central / Northern Vermont. The inn is clean, well provisioned and thoughtfully designed. Michael is flexible, available and very nice. The grounds are beautiful and you can feed the goats and chickens , too!

Our dear daughter and son-in-law sent my husband and I for a weekend getaway for Christmas. We needed a break and we got just that at the Birch and Berry Inn. The room was so accommodating and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our host Mike was available for anything we needed. The baked goods and coffee station were awesome. Beautiful surroundings, a small hike downtown for food was perfect!! You won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for rest and relaxation, the inn delivers just that! Kate and John W.

Absolutely phenomenal Inn! Beautifully appointed rooms, spotlessly clean, cozy and warm. Mike, Vicky and Alex are amazing hosts! The organic coffee available all day is some of the best we've had in the US. The location is tranquil and quintessential Vermont. Everything you need (cozy restaurants/ diners/cafes, pharmacy, boutique supermarket for essentials) are a short few minutes drive away. Don't hesitate for a second to book the coziest and most fabulous Vermont Inn we've ever visited.

Very nice! We only stayed one night as it was all they had available. Owner was very attentive and the location is lovely.

We will stay here again and will recommend to friends! I would recommend for a small family, couple, or single person. The owner was generous with the guests and extremely accommodating. He made a small bonfire for our children and even brought out s’mores! He popped popcorn one evening and prepared light breakfast food in the mornings. We appreciated that the inn was focused on small businesses in the area and all natural products. The booking, check-in, and check-out were efficient and so easy! Thank you for an amazing experience.

My daughter and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We were in town to visit the University of Vermont. It was an easy 20 minute drive from the Inn through beautiful backroads. We stayed in room 2 on the second level which was quiet with nice morning light. The mattress was exceedingly comfortable and we both had a great night sleep. In the morning there were fresh homemade bagels waiting for us. The espresso machine in the great room was all set up and I made myself a tasty cappuccino. The highlight for both of us was visiting the pet goats and chickens on the grounds. It's a wonderful place!

Rented all 4 rooms for our daughter’s graduation for last weekend at Champlain College. Inn keeper Mike was so accommodating! We brought sandwiches back to the Inn with our family and our daughter’s boyfriend’s family where we enjoyed the beautiful property! Our grandkids loved seeing the goats!The Inn is beautifully decorated and maintained! We will definitely be back!
