Glidden House

We had a wonderful experience with this venue for our daughter's wedding. The entre setting is very classy, which created a beautiful atmosphere for our guests. From the very beginning, the team was attentive, personable, and incredibly easy to work with. Communication was smooth throughout the planning process, and they were accommodating and collaborative every step of the way. We also appreciated how seamlessly they coordinated with their preferred outside vendors—that partnership really contributed to a smooth and successful event. A special thank you to Anna, our onsite specialist, the day of the event. She made us feel completely at ease— she was trustworthy, capable, and always available when we needed her. She handled a few unforeseen situations discreetly and professionally, ensuring everything stayed on track. It truly felt like we were in very good hands. Overall, we highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a well-run, elegant space with a team that genuinely cares about delivering a great experience.

Really upset about how long our room took. They said guaranteed check in is at 3 and we didnt get our room till 4:40. We were almost late to the wedding we were attending and my disabled father had to change in the bathroom. 💩

We just had our wedding at Glidden House this past weekend and it was absolutely amazing. The hotel is so beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. The staff is very kind and accommodating. From start to finish, they were on top of everything. Special shout out to their event coordinator, Anna, who helped make everything seamless and made our day flawless. Can’t wait to come back!

Charming and historic hotel. The front desk and elevator (singular) seem outdated, but the rooms are great. Not very large but certainly enough for two people. I loved the breakfast, go for the Belgian waffles.

I was involved with the marino/Stevenor wedding this past weekend. I must say gorgeous is a slight description of the hotel and grounds. The staff was very friendly and on point at all times! I must say Anna Thompson was an absolute professional and at the same time friendly and helpful for anything I needed. Her help made the event flawless for the families of the Bride and Groom. I was involved from the walk thru, hosting the rehearsal dinner, and the actual set up of the reception. Anna was available and reassuring at all times. I hope that couples looking forward to booking a wedding will check you out!

I recently went to a family wedding here.While sitting inside we’re a charcuterie table was set up I was enjoying a drink with my brother and a friend. when out of nowhere a woman approached telling us that we would have to leave. She stated that the space was only for the wedding party.(Which we were apart of) I I told her that we were part of the wedding party. She then said that if we didn’t move, we would be asked to leave. She then looked at my friend and said who would go to a wedding dressed in a hooded sweatshirt. I then pointed out to her that I have known the groom since he was six years old and that I am an important person to the family. It wasn’t until I got my phone out with a picture of the invitation that she left. This woman’s name is Anna. She Does not belong working with people at all!! That was a very, very rude thing to do, and no way to handle people that you don’t know…….. I feel insulted and I would never recommend this place to anyone. This girl Anna needs to be fired immediately !!! Later in the evening, while getting a glass of ginger ale at one of the bars that was set up, the young male bartender told me the drinks were for the wedding party and asked me again if I was part of it.(Making a joke out of my earlier experience) This should not be tolerated, I did tell him I didn’t think he was funny! He needs fired as well immediately. I have never been to a place like this and treated so horribly. it was kind of humiliating.

Lovely old mansion, quiet, well staffed and very clean. Within walking distance of the Cleveland Botanical Gardens and the Art Museum. We liked the in-hotel bar, set up with sofas & chairs, as well as typical bar seating. Breakfast was served in 2 lovely rooms. Plenty to eat, but the buffet was heavy on the carbs and the temperature of the "hot" foods (eggs, sausage, & fried potatoes) was not maintained.
