"Join us Sunday, August 16th from 5-7pm, for a Drag Show in the Park! Divest from genocide and invest in your local Colorado drag community by enjoying performances of liberation and celebration! Come learn about the divestment work JVP Denver/Boulder is doing and how you can get involved. Bring tips for performers! This event is outdoors at the Cheeseman Park Picnic Area (locatable on Google Maps) near the entrance at 11th and Humboldt. All are welcome!
Accessibility information:
-This event will be outdoors mostly on grass with a few picnic tables accessible by paved walkways
-Please bring a blanket or chair if you would like
-Street parking is available and the location is close to public transit -Emotional support animals are welcome. (Please message @kingwadrag on Instagram if you are in need of an accessible parking spot near the Picnic Area.)
-There are port-a-potties on site within a short distance from our gathering area.
-This is a mask required event. KN95/N95 masks will be provided for those who need one. Performers will not mask but will take COVID tests.
-Food will be provided from Jerusalem Restaurant. All food will be clearly marked with allergens."
