Because there where cockroaches
The Boulevard Inn is wonderful. Beautiful spaces, so cozy and such lovely touches. Central location to everything too. Roni and Mitch were terrific hosts, so kind and helpful. And the gourmet breakfast was delicious. We’ll definitely return.
Perfect. Location. Room. But mostly the people. Wonderfully gracious. Highly recommend!

The Boulevard Inn is an absolute gem in Richmond. The inn is a historic building, and it beautifully blends old-world character with lush, modern comfort. The couple who owns and operates the inn are incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. If you appreciate historic architecture, comfortable accommodations, and genuine hospitality, The Boulevard Inn is a wonderful place to stay. We would absolutely return.
We recently stayed at The Boulevard Inn on our way home from Charleston to Philadelphia--Richmond provided the perfect halfway point. The bar was set high on our trip as we just left 86 Cannon and they did not disappoint. Beautifully decorated/renovated, this boutique hotel has thought of everything from the premier linens to the high end bath products. Every detail from the well appointed library (you will not have enough time to even scratch the surface on the collection of stunning coffee table books and excellent novels on offer), to the delightful cocktail hour and the indulgent breakfast with more quality choices than you can possibly imagine. I nearly wept with joy at the sight of the high end coffee machine that will make any caffeinated concoction you can think of and I thoroughly enjoyed a local chocolate croissant and my husband loved his quiche. The neighborhood is colorful and there is a wide variety of restaurant choices within a very short walking distance. Mitch and Roni were exceedingly kind and Jeffrey was delightful. Keep it up guys--you're doing a great job!
Our recent anniversary stay at the Boulevard Inn in Richmond was absolutely exceptional from beginning to end. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, creating the perfect balance of historic charm, elegance, and comfort. The ambiance throughout the Inn was warm, relaxing, and beautifully refined. From the seamless check-in experience to the lovely afternoon wine and cheese reception, every moment felt special. The breakfast in the morning was equally impressive, with delicious pastries and outstanding made-to-order hot dishes that exceeded our expectations. The hospitality and attention to detail truly set this Inn apart. Everything about our stay was flawless, and we left feeling refreshed and thoroughly pampered. We highly recommend the Boulevard Inn to anyone visiting Richmond and look forward to returning ourselves in the future.
