Beit Ben-Yehuda

Theoretically, the place would be really cool, but unfortunately, you're subtly and covertly ripped off. Lots of hidden costs and unofficial price increases that you only find out about afterward (laundry, breakfast – which isn't upscale, pizza orders). And this is all done by social workers! Poor students are being exploited! I'm not coming back!

The hostel offers affordable accommodation with everything you need. However, the service is somewhat problematic. They overcharge for the washing machine and don't make arrangements. Breakfast is far too expensive for what it is. A real shame!

Ben Yehuda Street is a great place to hang out and stroll. There are usually many very talented street musicians playing and it has great little shops. It is fun to sit and relax with good food or coffee and enjoy life in Jerusalem, I came here for IDF Training and I am here enjoying in both training plus roaming.

We were on a family Saturday. A lovely place with personal space. Tidy. They helped us with everything we asked for. There were towels and linens. A lovely kitchen. A place for children. Not far from the beautiful promenade

You can get a glimpse of the outside of the house built for Eliezer Ben Yehuda by members of the Jerusalem Company of the Joseph Trumpeldor Labor Battalion. Show pictures, play a song, and talk about the renewal of the Hebrew language. It is not possible to enter the house.
