Econo Lodge Shorewood

The door says no smoking yet the desk agent said it's a smoking room and it has an ash tray? Room was pretty not great. Stunk as soon as I opened the door. Multiple bulbs were out and the light switch didn't even work. I had to find my way over to the bed table. TV didn't even turn on. I didn't stay past the first night. My truck is in at the dealer for service but I will be walking down the street dragging my bags to stay with the other hotel.

I am currently staying at the Econo Lodge in Shorewood, and this is by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The place is filthy, infested, and completely neglected. Day 1: I came to check out the room since this was an emergency placement. I didn’t even bring anything inside yet, thank goodness. The moment I stepped in, I saw a family of roaches having a meeting in the bathroom. I was in total shock and left right away to stay at the Red Roof Inn for the night (which I love because it’s actually clean and pet friendly). I told the night attendant about the roaches, and she just said she would tell the manager, Vish, in the morning—no apology, no concern. Day 2: I had to come back with my belongings since I’m still waiting to move into my new home. I asked for bags to protect my things from the infestation, and the desk clerk got offended and only tried to hand me two. I demanded the entire roll. My dog is miserable, constantly trying to avoid these pests crawling around. Day 3: I ordered a pizza, put it in the microwave, and when I came back, roaches were inside the microwave. I’m beyond disgusted. As I type this, a roach literally just crawled on my wrist. I can’t make this up. This place stinks, is loud, outdated, and completely unsanitary. Everything feels broken, and it’s obvious management doesn’t care at all. I’m only here temporarily until I move into my new home, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. STAY FAR AWAY from the Econo Lodge in Shorewood. Zero stars if I could. Absolutely disgusting.

Very nice but very expensive for what you get

Not a super good experience. Chip hotel, but low price is not a reason to see a cokroachs in room.

The floor in the room was dirty! The remote for the TV had something on it that made it feel weird! The rooms are not being cleaned properly!

It really has been long time since I have seen cocoroches 10+ years. Where we go! They have a lot. I attached with location stamp
