Best bed and breakfast ever. We stayed here for our honeymoon, came back for our 5 year anniversary, and now are back again for our 15 year anniversary. It's timeless and perfect, and it will always be a part of our most treasured memories. 💞

Awesome B&B! Room was very clean and comfortable! Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with everything we wanted. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

What a perfect place for a romantic getaway! My husband and I adored the outdoor fireplace, and little extras like fresh baked cookies really made our stay memorable. The service was exceptional, and our room was wonderful. We couldn't have been happier.

So far everything is wonderful we're looking forward to a great weekend

Stayed here during our stop in Manteo. Beautiful historic home (B&B). Really excellent Manager (Chris), who prepares wonderful food.

VERY NICE B&B, CLEAN, GREAT BREAKFAST, QUIET, GOOD LOCATION

We booked a night on Expedia, we clearly put our information that we were a family of 3 with a toddler. After a fun evening on the beach we returned to Cameron Inn hotel which is run down and lacks luster. In the morning my husband was bombarded with questions from the host asking him if he had read his email to confirm our child’s age which was not asked when checked in by the way. Though she was upset he explained that he elected for communication via text only. This horrible woman was extremely rude, unreasonable and racist, she told my husband everything was fine when he and toddler went downstairs as I was still upstairs getting ready. My daughter is mixed race and can pass for white but as soon as the host realized I was black, it was all too much for her. In front of the other guest she yelled how we are not allowed to sit with them and we can eat after in a different room when they are finished. This seemed quite extreme and aggressive as we were compliant as well as completely astonished by her gross behavior. We had paid $250 for a night with breakfast celebrating our anniversary only for our trip to be ruined by this hotel. We politely grabbed our stuff and left. We have traveled all over the world and stayed in better places and I refuse for my family and I to be treated like this.

Everything about this place is just lovely. The rooms, the people, everything. By far one of the experiences we’ve had while traveling. If you’re considering staying here, please do, you will not regret it!

Peaceful. We stayed at Cameron House for an extended weekend to participate in the Outer Banks Marathon. Cameron House and the lovely people who operate it made us feel welcome and relaxed at all times. The baked treats that were prepared for us were a very warm and caring extra touch that we really appreciated. We also enjoyed sitting out at night and warming ourselves by the fireplace out back and petting the cats.

Cameron House Inn & everyone in it, we love you! <3 Thank You SO much for making us feel so welcome. Thank you for "stressing" the Cameron House just enjoy & relax way of thinking and hosting. Literally everything you do here is designed to make every person that graces your home feel...well, at home. Your baking, fireplaces, the book to sign in each room, your location just blocks from downtown, y'all are very special. Don't change a thing. We will definitely tell anyone and everyone that this is the place to stay. But only if they're looking for a beautiful, homey and special place that makes each guest feel the same way. <3 You Will see us again.
