Bourbon Pub & Parade

We stopped by Bourbon Pub and Parade, and unfortunately, it was a really disappointing experience. The drinks were not good at all, which was surprising considering how popular the place is. But the bigger issue was what happened after we left. Our group accidentally left behind some artwork and a few personal items. When we called, we were told to call back later and speak with another bartender. After speaking with multiple people, no one was helpful and no one seemed to care. Somehow, our items had just “disappeared.” Even if it was ultimately our mistake, it would have been nice if someone had at least taken the time to check or show some effort. We had spent a good bit of money there, and it was the middle of the afternoon with only a couple of other people in the entire place, so it’s hard to understand how this was handled the way it was. Overall, just not a great experience.

I love this bore because it is a well-known gay bore, And it is open to anyone that wants to enjoy a good time. The drinks Or reasonable depending on what you are. If you get beer, it’s gonna be under five dollars depending on the cocktail you order it could be anywhere from seven to $10 or even more. The atmosphere at the Bourbon pub it’s absolutely wonderful and Music videos of fantastic on the big screens. I always have a great time at the Bourbon. Last savage date night, the bourbon pub advertise a drag show and strip show combination upstairs. I went in to attend. I had a great time at the drag Show, And after the drag showed, they had a strip show with a cowboy routine. That had many girls that were from out of town that was bridesmaids attending the show. I never ever mind that’s fine with me whatever you like to watch. But remember the bourbon pub is a gay bar. When I went and purchased a ticket to attend the show, the girl should’ve told me when she took my money that it’s a drag show and a strip show, but the strip show is for women only. At the strip show the men that was trapping only wanted to entertain the women that was in the club. This upset me because I paid my money to attend the show. I was offering the strippers a dollar or tw, Depending on how much I like them and thought the strip tease was pretty good. Only one stripper came over by me and took my ball. The breast only wanted to entertain the women.. Like I said, I have no problem with it. The only thing I’m saying the stripper should’ve came and took the money I was offering and also entertained me because remember it is a gay bar doesn’t say lesbian bar. I think the management of the club should also tell the strippers you have to entertain everyone not just the women. There were several men attending, but after the first two strips, three of them left because they didn’t feel they were treating the audience fair. I refuse to leave and stay for the whole show, but if someone is attending your show, male a female, you should entertain everyone and at least take their money. I would also like to add that they have excellent bartenders at the bourbon pub, It is easy to remember their names and the drinks are always fantastic.

23 dollars a drink is insane. It comes in a water cup smaller than a red solo cup. I'm not sure if they change the price depending on the time, but the exact same drink was 12.50 just thirty minutes before. I questioned the bartender about the difference and you would think I challenged his integrity. He immediately got defensive and said he only makes 13 dollars an hour and the owner makes the prices. Three stars because the dancers were AMAZING. They made the night truly special for my daughter celebrating her 21st birthday.

David was a great bartender. Nice corner bar leaving Jackson Square area as we head back down Bourbon Street.

$18.85 for ONE well vodka and redbull is INSANE. TWICE as expensive as any other bar I visited in the quarter.

We just had drinks, vodka, and cranberry and a beer. But we like the bar and would go back.

Went for a lesbian/ girls night. Was fun, they had enough staff, and environment was cool. Loved the dj. Maybe better marketing bc my straight friend told me about it and there can definitely be more girls attending.
