Broussard's Restaurant & Courtyard

We were looking for a nice place in the afternoon. Something that would serve as a reprieve from the bombastic bourbon street. We found Broussard’s! Perfect upscale atmosphere, amazing food selection, great happy hour! But the real draw is the bartender, Chris. Chris was outstanding! He made great cocktails, he recommended fantastic wines, and gave us a tour of Broussard’s! What a history! We were so lucky to find a beautiful restaurant with a bartender that truly cares about service! Thank you Chris!

Emily was our server and she was FANTASTIC! We also had a great meal and the jazz band was terrific. Emily was one of the best servers we’ve ever had. The manager personally came by and told us about the history of the restaurant. That’s what you call top service. Love that place. We will be back.

Aaron was such an awesome server! He was so attentive but not smothering. He gave us amazing recommendations and the food was sooo good. The live band was also really nice. Would definitely come back and i recommend to anyone looking for good food and a good time!

My son and I had a wonderful dinner here! From the moment we walked in, it was so much better than I could have hoped. Shout out to Zach (our server) and Kevin (greeted us upon arrival) for making it such a memorable night. We booked our table through Open Table for 9pm because we had a tour scheduled prior. Kevin called me directly and let me know that the kitchen was closing at 9pm. He apologized and asked if we could arrive a little earlier than 9pm. We were able to change it to 8:30pm and he was very grateful. Zach was also fabulous. He had a big smile the entire time and the service was wonderful. He had the bartender make a special mocktail for my son (which he loved) and then walked us through the entire history and process of bananas foster while he was preparing it table-side. Everyone there was so kind and never rushed us even though we didn’t order dessert until close to 9:30pm. I truly hope that Kevin and Zach know they made a lasting impression on us, especially my son, as this was his first trip to New Orleans. They gave us memories we’ll never forget. I will recommend Broussard’s to anyone traveling to New Orleans!

It was the highlight of our trip. Aaron was an amazing server. Everyone who worked there went out of their way to engage and make our experience top notch. The wisteria vine tree alone is worth the trip. Delicious food and drinks. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Whether you’re meeting friends for brunch, enjoying time with family, or treating yourself to a solo date, this is the perfect place to relax and enjoy an amazing meal. They offer plenty of seating, including a beautiful outdoor courtyard and comfortable bar seating, so there’s a spot for everyone. What really sets Broussard’s apart is the outstanding service. Every team member is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about making your experience memorable. A special shout-out to Chris, bartender and server, who always goes above and beyond. His hospitality, professionalism, and positive energy make every visit even better. The live jazz musicians are incredibly talented and create the perfect New Orleans atmosphere. Combined with the excellent food, fantastic drinks, and exceptional service, it’s an experience that keeps me coming back year after year. If you’re in New Orleans and looking for one of the best brunch spots in the city, I can’t recommend Broussard’s Restaurant & Courtyard enough. I promise you won’t be disappointed. It’s a true New Orleans gem that deserves every bit of a five-star review.
