Renaissance Waterford Oklahoma City Hotel

Not quite what it used to be. Still a decent hotel in a reasonably nice and quiet area, but not as nice as it once was.

I love the balcony rooms... not many left with that feature. Service is always top notch

Rooms were dirty. AC didnt work. Lobby smells. Just dont go there unless every other property in okc is full.

Do not stay here. TLDR: Extremely dirty and unsanitary. I was extremely disappointed with the Renaissance Waterford OKC Hotel. We checked in on Saturday, May 23 and were expected to stay through the 25. However, upon entering our room (Room 403) we noticed quite a few things wrong. First, we noticed that the bathroom was not clean. There was trash in the trash can and stains on the toilet and in the shower. Second, we found a small animal (cat or dog) feces under the bed as well as stains from previous feces. We also found a tissue or paper towel under the bed, which I refused to touch. This was unacceptable, extremely unsanitary, and we asked to move rooms. We were then promptly moved to a different room (Room 703) and upon further investigation noticed that this room was equally disgusting. The bathroom had stains (e.g., dirt, blood, etc.) all over the wall near the trashcan. We were there for an hour and 10 minutes. I told the front desk clerk, who was the only redeeming quality of this hotel, that we were canceling our rooms. He notified me that he would cancel it and that the pending charges would be canceled the next bank day. I also acquired the managers (Mrs. Lujan) phone number to make a formal complaint and left a voicemail. It has been 4 days and the charges are still pending and the manager has not called me back. I will be reporting this to the OKC public health department. For a "4 star hotel" this is unacceptable. Do not stay here. I wanted to follow up after my stay and make a comment. After I reported the unsanitary conditions to the okc public health department, they went out approximately 2-3 weeks later and checked the rooms I had stayed in. Keep in mind, I finally talked to the manager the day after I made this post. The public health department informed me that the item in the picture was still there! Even after I alerted the front desk and left a note for the housekeeping staff in the room where to find the feces.

Do not stay here, thete isn't enough staff by any means. Mold, ac did not work, poor management and woke up to no water. They stated it was a emergency but it was not and had been planned. Extremely dissatisfied. The mold is growing and we had a suite. Felt sorry for the skeleton staff there.

Good experience

The room itself was nice, and the lobby was nice as well. Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing. There was constant elevator noise throughout the stay, which made it very hard to relax. I tried to switch rooms, but the hotel was fully booked, so there wasn’t much that could be done. The AC also barely worked, which made the room uncomfortable. Breakfast was another big issue. It felt very unorganized. There was no one seating guests, plates and silverware were out, several items were missing, and even the hot water was out. The restaurant staff seemed overwhelmed, and the whole breakfast experience was frustrating. I am a Marriott Gold member, and Marriott has always been one of my favorite hotel brands, so this was honestly very disappointing. I expected a better experience and better service from Marriott.

Jackie G at the restaurant was amazing, attentive, and gave me everything I wanted. She was an exceptional waitress that helped me have an amazing evening at this hotel.
