The Audrey

The Audrey was a fantastic accomodation that greatly enriched my stay in Springfield. The second-floor apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. I loved the Victorian furnishings and the beds were so comfy. The accomodation was a great mix of old world character with modern comforts, and very close to the Lincoln-themed places to visit and non-chain restaurants.

The Audrey House has the best of both new and old. The beautiful woodwork throughout the first floor is amazing. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated to fit modern standards. We enjoyed staying at this cozy Victoria style home. Our granddaughter had her first communion ceremony at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. The church is only 5 minutes away so the location is excellent. The Audrey House is a great place to stay!

I stayed in the first floor which was a very enjoyable experience. It's such a beautiful house and everything was perfect. I would definitely stay again when in the Springfield area. I have nothing negative to say about this place. Everything was provided.

Our family shared the second and third floors. The generous sized rooms and large windows that let in lots of light were great features. We requested a one night extension due to snow storm, and it was easy to deal with the property administrator to make this happen. Also, very clean and comfortable mattresses. The furniture is Victorian, fun and lovely, but Victorian couches are not the best for watching football or movies. Otherwise, the place is fantastic.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Audrey. We had the 2nd floor with two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and bathroom. It was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the furniture and decor and it blended modern comforts with the historic vibes of the building. The four of us who stayed enjoyed relaxing around the table to play some cards in the evening, then retreating to our rooms for a comfortable night. The location was ideal for us as well. This is a wonderful choice while staying in Springfield, IL!

Beautiful and historic house with charming antique furniture and a lot of character. The place was clean, with nice touches like filtered water and free parking. However, communication was difficult — no clear instructions for the 4 bedrooms, and we couldn’t find the connected rooms at first for one night out of 2. One room had black big flies, so we didn’t use it. Also, the cancellation policy was very strict when some of my family couldn’t come. Lovely place overall, but needs better support and flexibility.

Amazing place with touch of history

A well-preserved historic home, with its strengths and weaknesses. A unique experience not to be missed. The owners were extremely kind and helpful. Despite being a historic residence, it was equipped with every comfort... highly recommended!

Beautiful and period correct vintage charm in The heart of Springfield!!!! This is the first time I’ve been completely over joyed at the condition this house was in and all the incredible pictures were true to form!!! Excellent communication from Sean and his team and slept like a rock in The gorgeous bedrooms. My whole family loved this place! The Audrey is pristine in every way! Thank you!!!
