Sail As You Are Hosts The Hooligan Navy Sail

Sail into history as we celebrate the Schooner Hindu's story. This sail is a benefit for our non-profit partner Sail As You Are, and is a part of our annual giving campaign. The Schooner Hindu was commandeered for the first joint task force between the Navy and the Coast Guard and given the task of patrolling a quadrant of the Atlantic for German U-boats. Naval themed costumes are welcomed but not required for this fun sail featuring themed music, light nibbles, and refreshments. Sail As You Are has a mission to foster a vibrant and diverse maritime culture that celebrates history, while setting an example for the future.
