8 Dyer Hotel + The Benchmark

We had a wonderful stay at 8 Dyer Hotel + The Benchmark. The responsiveness, friendliness and service of the staff was fantastic. The extra touches of the fabulous tea & coffee bar as well as drinks and snacks really made us feel at home. The pool and hot tub were great too and the breakfast was tremendous! And you cannot beat the location. Also, did I mention the staff? We shared with them that we were headed to the beach and they offered us the use of chairs, umbrellas and towels. This was our 1st stay at 8 Dyer Hotel & Benchmark and hope to be back. We highly recommend! G & M

My wife and I enjoyed a Tuesday to Friday stay at 8Dyer and would definitely recommend it. This was our first time to Ptown so didn't have an experienced lay of the land, but the location was very walkable to Commercial St and everything worked out great. We received a few recommendations from the team at 8Dyer and also enjoyed the complimentary coffee stations, drink fridges, and snack baskets in the two lobbies. We also enjoyed sitting out on the loungers/under umbrellas, at their small pool (heated by the sun, so likely warmer later into the summer). Then we would enjoy some time in their indoor spa - a dip in the hot tub followed by some time in the dry sauna. The housekeeping staff was very respectful and quick to freshen up our room each day. Also having keyless entry (you have your own PIN for the doorlocks) was a nice plus as to not have to carry a key or card around with you. All in all we have a very nice stay and would recommend this hotel to any friends looking to visit Ptown.

Phenomenal place to stay. Truly the definition of hospitality as every little detail is thought of. The staff are warm & kind and around when you need them. Location is excellent. Absolutely loved the breakfast provided by Yolqueria as well

Our second stay at 8 Dyer was as fabulous as the first! Penthouse 1 was immaculate, spacious, and comfortable. We had spectacular views no matter where we looked. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful. Dee, Shane, and Greg were warm and welcoming- we didn’t want to leave! Thanks for making our anniversary weekend special. I almost forgot- the cake pops were a fun treat!

We had a wonderful stay at 8 Dyer. The hosts as well as the guests couldn't have been more welcoming. Everything was great. We appreciated the nicely decorated, very clean room we stayed in. We especially loved the home cooked breakfasts and afternoon snacks. Even the coffee and tea provided was exceptional!

We had another exceptional stay at 8Dyer over the new year. It was a bit like visiting old friends who anticipate your every need. Everything in the place sparkles, the rooms have every possible amenity (including Alexa in the room, an ample--and working--mini-fridge, and three sets of glasses in varying sizes) and it is clear that Steve and Shane and everyone who works there from preparing breakfast to tidying up is invested in the comfort of their guests. On top of it all, the central location is perfect: half a block from Commercial and Bradford Streets, just a block or two from McMillan Wharf. We can't wait to return!

We recently were in Provincetown and had to move hotels due to issues at our first one. We were annoyed and disappointed that we had to move due to poor conditions HOWEVER.....we found a 'diamond in the rough' when a family member got us in at 8 Dyer Hotel. Will never stay anywhere else when we visit. Impeccable and thoughtfully planned out accommodations, wonderful breakfast and beautiful common areas. However, the best part is the warm and caring staff. We felt genuinely cared for during or way too short of a stay and look forward to returning.

I have called 8 Dyer my home in Ptown since 2015. We just spent Halloween weekend at the inn and were, once again, met with exceptional and compassionate care. The space is glorious - sophisticated, elevated, accessible and maintains the charisma of the magical seaside town. Every staff member greets you with a smile and genuine care. Breakfast is top tier! We always walk away saying, “I’m not ready to leave!” I absolutely adore everything about 8 Dyer. Thank you Steve, Brandon, Shane, Greg and the entire team!
