Tru by Hilton St. Louis Downtown

I was very disappointed with my stay at this Hilton property in St. Louis. As a frequent traveler, I chose Hilton because I generally associate the brand with quality, safety, and consistency, but this experience fell far below my expectations. I arrived late at night with my wife, and the surrounding area felt very unsafe. What was particularly frustrating was being told at approximately 3:00 AM to find street parking on our own. After a long day of travel, and given the conditions around the hotel, I expected more assistance or at least greater consideration for guests arriving late at night. This lack of support significantly impacted our first impression of the property. I did not expect this from Hilton hotel. The room itself was also disappointing. It was much smaller than expected, appeared poorly maintained, and did not meet the cleanliness standards I normally associate with Hilton hotels. While the front desk staff were courteous, friendly, and professional throughout our stay, they were unfortunately the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience. I strongly encourage Hilton management to conduct a thorough inspection and review of this property to ensure it meets the standards that guests expect from the Hilton brand. Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is local to a beautiful church. The parking is awful. The room feels like a hospital room.

The person at the front desk was helpful. the rooms were setup good but the beds were not soft they were kind of hard there was also no microwave in the room you had to go down to the main floor for the microwave. They have snacks and drinks 🍸 😋 for sale on the main floor.

Front desk had me on hold for over 45 minutes. Transferred me multiple times to house keeping knowing that they where not in at the moment. The housekeeping inbox was full so I couldn't leave them a message and the front desk refused to take a message for them. Fix your house Hilton something here is broken and you need to fix it. This all happened before during and after my stay. I have spent over 200 nights with Hilton in the past 5 years and know you can do better.

This place is an absolute nightmare. If you want to get mugged and/or assaulted definitely stay here. Garbage pit.

The hotel is fine, but I’m writing this review because the staff was really kind and accommodating. Laqonda was incredibly helpful and set up late check out for me. Incredibly grateful before a 15 hour trip to Australia!

Keep in mind parking everywhere downtown is $50. Skip all that and use their Valet for $55 no fuss, no muss. Nice hotel and location.

The staff is exceptional. No one site parking which was a bummer but they did offer valet @ $55 per night (too steep for me). Just pay to park if you're not going to spend a lot of time in the hotel (my opinion)

It’s Ok, but for this quality the price could be lower

The rooms were pretty basic with not much in it, which is okay, because we were really only there to sleep. Great location to walk to the Enterprise stadium! However, as a Hilton member we are supposed to receive a couple complimentary waters and a goodie bag they were out of they said. The waters would have been good. They didn't even have water in the lobby cooler for purchase. Overall, staff was helpful. And felt safe with security present
