Had a slight problem when I got there but it was taken care of swiftly! Awesome staff, everyone was friendly!

Wouldn’t know how the room is after traveling 11 hours and arriving Add two in the morning we were turned away by the staff telling us was too late to check in and then we could pay them, but then we’d have to check in the next day at 3 o’clock. To me it’s bad business we were extremely tired and over exhausted from a long trip and just wanted to stay in a room and they would not let us went down the road to another hotel who accommodated us happily gave us a room we’re able to get the rest we needed would never even try to stay in a sure state hotel. Definitely not this one in Tuscaloosa horrible staff.

I had a wonderful stay at SureStay Hotel! The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is in a great location. There are plenty of great restaurants within a few miles, along with a Walmart Supercenter, Aldi, several pharmacies, and convenience stores, making everything you need easily accessible. A special thank you to the manager, Huey, who truly goes above and beyond to make every guest feel welcomed and comfortable. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel has a quiet yet lively atmosphere, making it the perfect place to relax while still being close to everything. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

My stay at this hotel took an unexpected and extremely unprofessional turn because of the manager, Huey. The two front desk attendants were wonderful — patient, respectful, and genuinely trying to help — but my interaction with the manager was the complete opposite. I first spoke with Huey over the phone at around 3 a.m., when he claimed he couldn’t find my reservation in the system. Even after I provided proof of payment from my credit card transaction, he threatened me three separate times with criminal trespass and said he would call the police. At one point, he even told the attendant, “stop talking to him, I know how these people are,” which was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Huey insisted that unless I paid again for the room, he would call the cops. His tone was accusatory, dismissive, and hostile — not something any guest should ever experience, especially when providing proof of payment. After I finally said I would not pay twice and agreed to leave, he somehow found my cell phone number and called about five minutes later to “apologize.” The apology felt forced and not sincere in the slightest. The front desk attendants were great and handled the situation as best they could, but dealing with Huey was unacceptable. His behavior was threatening, unprofessional, and completely out of line for someone in a management position.

Horrible! First of all the building STINKS.😷😷 The elevator was dirty. 🤮🤮The water does not get hot. Bed sheets were dirty. 🤢Lights flickering in bathroom. Had roaches. 🤮Bed frame disgusting . And the room service came in when they wanted. Breakfast was cold 🥶. Overall this place is horrible and I would not recommend anbody staying here. 0/100000!

We stay quite often and we always have the best service big thanks to huey he's always made sure we are taken care of.
