Gay historical bar that is still kicking. Specials are good. Karaoke is good because members of the DC Gay Men's Chorus sing there. Good dance music and events. Disgusting bathrooms. Overall unclean. But we still go there at least once a week

Always a good time!

This bar has permanently lost my business. I arrived on a Thursday night at 8:20 pm. I bought several drinks. I was not offered a cup at the door on entry. Apparently, you need a cup when they do shirtless Thursdays and the bartenders won’t give you one at the bar. That is ridiculous. I’ll spend my money elsewhere…

This review is not entented to be bad in a way but It was something I was not expecting. This review is for thoes who are interested in going. This place is not for young adults, there are mosty older individuals then younger. And felt uncomfortable being the only one in my 20s. There are half naked men everywhere. This is not a bar. It's a strip club. So if you are open and want to go out here. Go with a friend. Usually everyone elce is with someone elce. It was my mistake to go by myself and try something I've never done. Be safe out there.

Very welcoming! The second floor cost check man is amazing and friendly. The bar tenders are amazing and the greeter is exceptional!

Many bars that traditionally have male patrons all around the world have make lengths to try to be more inclusive, but few go out of their way to find out what that actually means. Mario at Green Lantern went out of his way to accommodate my female guest, which beyond it being helpful in the moment, really shows their call to actually including not just us gay men; but our guests as well. Cannot sing Mario and this bars praises enough. If you are in DC and want to goto a legacy gay bar that is also inclusive, goto GREEN LATERN
