Davinci Suites

Davinci Suites occupies a corner of Maude Street in Sandton, Johannesburg’s corporate heart. It’s an apartment hotel, not a gay venue, though it is gay-friendly. The setup assumes you’re staying more than a night or two. Each suite comes with a fully equipped kitchen—dishwasher, oven, microwave included—plus a coffee machine, washing machine, flat-screen TV, and free WiFi. You get a fitness centre and an on-site restaurant. Breakfast is served daily, either continental or buffet style. With nearly 3,000 Google reviews averaging 4.6, the place has been tested enough times to trust the basics. Sandton is all business and malls. If you’re looking for Johannesburg’s gay nightlife, you’ll be elsewhere. Plan on an Uber or a rental car to get there.
