Hotel Lords is a mainstream budget hotel in the Fort district of South Mumbai, on Adi Murzban Path opposite Café Universal and a short walk from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. It is gay-friendly only in the general sense. Expect basic rooms in an older building; Google reviews average 4.1 from about 1,000. The address works well if you want to be close to the station, the colonial-era buildings around Fort and the cafés of Kala Ghoda, with Colaba a short taxi ride south. India decriminalised same-sex relations in 2018. Mumbai's queer nightlife mostly runs as rotating party nights in Bandra and Lower Parel, so check event listings.

Pros: All the prominent places are nearby. Staff is courteous Cons: But the rooms are very congested and not cleaning maintained.

Their delux room was not upto mark. Flushes were not working. Bed was not properly prepared and bed sheet was not changed. Receptionist accommodated my request but was slightly rude.

Rooms were too small for the price. We had to ask for appropriate number of towels and toiletries which they didn’t provide according to the number of guests. They didn’t even provide an invoice for food and beverages during checkout claiming network issues.
