Mix Bar.秘密基地 (the name means "secret base") is a small bar on an upper floor of a building on Kitanagasadori in Chuo Ward, a few minutes' walk from Sannomiya station. Our listing has it as a gay-friendly mixed bar. Older text called it a gay bar, but we can't confirm that, so treat the crowd as an open question. The bar posts on X (@bar_secret_base), and that is the best place to find opening nights and hours, which aren't listed here. Bars like this in Japan are often counter-seat places with a cover charge, so ask about the charge when you sit down.

I visited the restaurant while on a business trip. The owner, and perhaps some of the regular customers, treated me very kindly. My foreign friend who went with me also had a great time. I'll definitely visit again the next time I'm in Kobe. Thank you for the delicious meal!
