Station 2 is the busiest stretch of the island, with D'Mall, restaurants and beach bars all within a few minutes' walk, so you trade quiet for convenience. Rooms closer to the beach path pick up noise from the evening crowd; ask for a room set further back if you sleep lightly. Reviews average 4.3 from about a thousand guests. Boracay does not have dedicated gay bars, but the Station 2 bar strip draws a mixed crowd at night.

I spent a very pleasant few days at the Red Coconut Beach Hotel. The welcome was warm and the setting is simply splendid. The hotel is well-maintained and offers a relaxing atmosphere that allows you to fully enjoy your stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the attentive staff was always ready to help. The nearby beach is a real plus for relaxing and admiring the sunset. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.
