The food at the Grand Club was excellent, and breakfast was much more satisfying than dinner. The Globalist benefits and service were good, and the housekeeping and amenities were satisfactory.
I stayed in the Grand Suite, and the view of the Han River was great. However, I was informed that the Namsan Tower view is not available from the suite. It was nice that there was an exhibition space inside the hotel and a variety of restaurants.
The gym had an InBody machine, and the sauna facilities were excellent, so I used them frequently during my stay. However, it was disappointing that hotel guests could not use the gym programs.
The valet service was slower than expected, and I did not experience particularly good service. It was also inconvenient that reservations were required to use the swimming pool on weekends. I tried calling the number listed on Google Maps to inquire about the hotel, but it did not connect; however, I was connected immediately when I called the Globalist Lounge.
Getting around was inconvenient because the hotel is located at the top of a mountain. Although a shuttle bus operates, it stops running early in the evening, and even though there are local bus and bus stops nearby, the service interval is at least 15 minutes, which was disappointing. However, the unobstructed view was truly wonderful.
The hotel as a whole was very crowded. The lobby felt smaller than expected and was always crowded and noisy. It was disappointing that there weren't enough places to sit and rest.
The Grand Club food was excellent, especially breakfast, which was much better than dinner. As a Globalist member, I enjoyed the benefits and service. Housekeeping and the room amenities were also great
I stayed in a Grand Suite with a beautiful Han River view. However, I was told that the suites do not offer views of N Seoul Tower. The hotel also has several restaurants and exhibition spaces, which were nice to explore
The gym had an InBody machine, and the sauna facilities were excellent. I used both frequently during my stay. However, hotel guests are not allowed to participate in the gym's fitness programs, which was disappointing
The valet service was slower than expected and did not feel particularly special. Weekend pool access also required a reservation, which was inconvenient. I could not reach the hotel using the phone number listed on Google Maps, but the Globalist lounge answered immediately
The hotel's location at the top of a mountain made getting around inconvenient. Although a shuttle bus is available, it stops running relatively early in the evening. Local buses stop nearby, but the intervals are at least around 15 minutes, which made transportation less convenient. On the bright side, the hotel offers beautiful, unobstructed views
The hotel was extremely crowded throughout my stay. The lobby felt surprisingly small, was often noisy and packed with people, and had very limited seating
