Don't hesitate to come here alone. I came by myself and felt super welcomed. Everyone is so nice, and together create a warm ambiance.
I came to Les Folies specifically for my birthday because I was excited for the karaoke night programming that day. My friend and I were visiting from NYC and since my birthday fell on a Wednesday night, I was locked in b/c it sounded like it had to be a good time...drunk karaoke-ing with strangers on another land, why not?? :) The team at Les Folies were very cute and easy going, very cheerful and attentive. The place got packed pretty quickly and the crowd changed a couple times while we were there for the night but everyone was SO lovely and fun, half French songs half American pop catalogue (linkin park, Dolly Parton, lots of Rihanna haha). Anyway, I did muster up the spirit to sing as well and honestly the whole crowd was always throwing love at everyone, and what anyone lacked in talent they made up for in enthusiasm, but there were some great singers in the crowd too. everyone was just so cheerful and easy going and just #vibes honestly, cheering loudly & singing along in a basement cave. At some point we made some friends at other tables and the whole place sung happy birthday to me impromptu. Couldn't have asked for a more surreal & kick ass uplifting birthday :) Drinks were tasty, service was friendly and attentive, vibes immaculate :)
The woman who was serving our table was super attentive and sweet, and she gave us good recommendations and efficient service ♥️ definitely coming back
Cute cosy place. Gets livelier by the night.
